Who knew that crt own a property development company in partnership with a company called bloc developments. The company is called H2O urban. On one of its developments in salford Manchester they are refusing to restore the canal that runs through the site? Whereβs the oversight of this activity by crt, letβs not forget itβs public money and assets we are talking about. Where is all of this mentioned in crts published accounts. The whole thing stinks of corruption and brown envelopes. We need some oversight of their activities, boaters should be demanding it. We still contribute 25%ish of their budget that they use to play these games. I've posted mentions about h20 urban for about 5-6 years. π thunderboat.boards.net/post/242873

Ego's π€£ππ€£. That's really funny, but the fact is, h20 urban should have been addressed when it was formed years ago, but ego's got in the way then as well. It's well established now, and is legitimate. If only it had been acted upon when I first made it public in 2014, oops, sorry, mistook my information giving as ego building. Nbta are 10 years too late, as they were in discovering they had a cop infiltrator amongst them. A few good people with genuine interest in the waterways, but Nick Brown and the likes are just wankpuffins.

More like to others.
The Norwood top lock example was interesting. Sold to a developer. This was BW/CRT land.
The question is was it sold for the correct value and who valued it.
Building land in Southall with room for 10 substantial houses sold got the CRT Β£1.5m in 2013. Too cheap?

It would be good to do a foi request about all this nonsense, but they would say itβs too exspensive to reply so thereβs no point.

They might just say it is commercially sensitive information.
Another site below Norwood top locks was sold for Β£2,775,000+ vat according to land registry. This looked to be an ex BW depot as I remember seeing boats stored there. Now has about 40 canalside flats no doubt Β£500k each.

Just one of those rumours but only a few days ago I ran into an old boating friend who was bemoaning the selling off of CRT assets and told me about the sale of his mate's lockhouse a few years back - sold at auction for Β£100,000, valued three weeks later at Β£230,000......... both incredulous that CRT seemed to want to "give it away".

Rickmansworth (from Land Registry - you can find sale price if recent using map pin tool) This looks to be where the Travis Perkins/Premier Inn site rearrangement is
---- Summary of freehold Property description part of Grand Union Canal lying to the North of Moor Lane, Rickmansworth
This is how HM Land Registry have described the property in the register
How to update the property description Tenure type Freehold What's freehold? Last sold for Β£2,016,000 on 25 October 2018 ----
So something described as part of the Grand Union canal has been sold. Maybe salters cut was a private arm.
