This was covered extensively on the other channel. It’s interesting (well depressing really) to read the list of complaints. Such as inadequate earthing, no fuse, and possible to short the terminals. Just like every other battery. And this great sentence “There was also no discharge cut-off voltage, making it possible for the battery to overcharge and overheat.” Must have been written by someone lacking a proper education.
The only valid reason is absence of BMS, but there is a whole lot of other bullshit.

I have for a long time wondered if the Shun Bin batteries sold on Amazin' might turn out to be bad.
The name see.s suspect.

One imagines if these 'recalled' batteries do get binned some intrepid explorer will open them and sell the cells on fleabay.
