What ? yes they spend £41.6 million to raise I think it was £4.6 million last year. You would probably get a better return If you put it in one armed bandits or backed the horses.

I think you have to know what the definition of 'raising funds' means before making comparisons. i.e. does raising funds cover things like managing the property portfolio?
Not trying to defend CRT, it's just the info presented is very vague and open to interpretation, unless you look into the details.
