I was idly looking for an oven that works on diesel. No such thing exists, it appears. However I found this gadget:
The idea is you simply plonk it down onto the top of one of their stoves, but I suspect it would work just as well on a hob or, indeed, a solid fuel stove. And it folds up when not in use, apparently.

I once inherited something like that from a family friend who had all sorts of gadgets to be cleared when they popped their clogs. Double base with a round lid with thermometer in the lid, from 30s or so.
NB Bittern's Boom, 32ft Narrowboat reg'd 1968, moored on the highest mooring on the network.
I think Wallis Make diesel ovens too... I thought about having a gas free boat when fitting Ellis out but the cost of the hob and oven combined was WAY too much at the time... still is.

I imagined using an induction hob which are quite cheap now. So it just left the question of an oven which could maybe be compensated for with an air fryer. Instantaneous hot water would be problematic but on a boat that cruised a lot it probably wouldn't matter that much if one had a cauliflower. You'd also need loads of batteries and solar power. Anyway whatever.
