Why not? "Winston Churchill famously once said that a pint of Champagne was the ideal measure, being “enough for two at lunch and one at dinner”. " Why should they? Do you really think they will change their production line for little Johnny Englander? Thought you were brighter than that. But French winery production lines turned out pint bottles of Champagne prior to 1973, right?

you haven’t got it in you to turn me into a victim of yours. You’ve been lying and making shit up for years on boating forums. Your so used to your own fantasies, that you don’t know what reality is. If you ever threaten me or anyone else on this forum with physical violence I can guarantee to you that you will regret it for the rest of your miserable life. Now can I have my window stickers that I paid you for how ever many years ago? Fucking idiot. You need to visit a dr. (After you've showered). Where are my window stickers, you lying thieving cunt.

If they do, as proposed, they will charge the 75cl price to gullible fools.

Where are my window stickers, you lying thieving cunt. 😂🤣😂🤣😂. What can I say, eat your heart out? 😂😂😂 So you don’t deny being a liar or a thief then. Your the one who ran off with the money from the ACC when you had bullied everyone else off the committee. Or was that someone else? I’m happy to be corrected, it’s difficult to keep track of all your online identities. What where you calling your self then, jenlyn or was it Steve Jenkins? As I say I lose track, I just call you what everybody else on the cut that knows you does. A liar and a thief.

'Huge costs' was the term used, the one I responded to. I also asked if you knew of any Brexit benefits, more than once. You responded with dissembling questions. You could always engage with all the points being made, rather than just talking about argument or picking on one little bit as a distraction to a question you can't answer. That would raise the prospect of debate. You asked about Brexit benefits as a response to my doubts about your assertion about the 'huge costs' of brexit. You need to justify your assertions, before you start asking questions of your own. Asking questions doesn't justify any assertions you may have.

Canal Boat windows often toughened glass. There is the kitemark thing.
I know two people who got overly pissed orf and did all the windows. Click click click automatic centre punch.
Makes hardly any noise at all.

"Pint bottles of champagne were sold in the UK before Britain joined the European Common Market, and remained on shelves until 1973. However, their production ceased because they did not comply with EU weight and measure rules". Where is your evidence to support your prediction of the pricing of champagne sold in pint bottles?

You could always engage with the point being made, rather than just talking about argument. That would raise the prospect of debate. I could, but I’m wise enough to know when to give in. I’m happy to acknowledge that there are positives to be drawn from leaving the EU. Blue passports, Vince earning more, pints of wine etc. You and others here are unwilling though to accept that Brexit has cost us Billions in lost trade, increased household bills, created problems for those of us who wished to spend long periods in EU countries. So Brexit, good and bad. Agreed? I don't agree that Brexit has led to increased household bills. Inflation has been a worldwide phenomenon. Only increased administration can be attributed to Brexit. Any such costs are negligible in the broader scheme of things. Don't forget that the hundreds of thousands of low paid migrants who arrived last year are now contributing via hefty visa costs and are required to pay a contribution towards the costs of the NHS. They are excluded from the welfare system and have no entitlement to join social housing queues. A far cry from 'the good old days' when such arrivals were uncontrolled, had immediate entitlement to generous welfare benefits and immediate parity with those waiting for years on the social housing queues. A far more significant Brexit benefit than blue passports or pints of wine, I'll suggest.

Human greed and contempt for fools. I asked you for evidence, not opinion. The fact that Champagne was sold in pint bottles until 1973 indicated that there was a demand for it in this measure. That the EEC forcibly withdrew this option because it was sold in an Imperial measurement is a restriction of consumer choice, not an enhancement. Do you think beer should stop being sold in pints and only be sold in metric measurements?

Now, I could paste dozens, hundreds of independent reviews from leading experts about how Brexit has cost us billions. You would only tell me they are all wrong though. Not talking about the bbc by the way! So I’m out of this discussion, it can’t go anywhere.

Most of the downsides of leaving the eu were created purely from an eu sense of "sour grapes". Switzerland is neither a member of the eu nor the EEA but its citizens are free to live and work in the eu.
