I only know about this because we once had a horsebox wagon with one of these in it to provide services to the living accommodation.
This was many yars ago. How the mighty have fallen.
The Jaguar XJS Eventer was quite cool too.

I don't think you read my post properly. The only water cooled generator I have come across made by Honda was the 3610 horsebox power unit. ...but how many water cooled silent generators using a thimbleful of petrol are there available ? Honda 3610 was a very nice package actually. I think it could have been adapted to provide hot water. Twin cylinder Nice generator. Sometimes these get taken out of horseboxes in favour of Diesel units and one can get a very nice item cheap. A bit large for a Boat so small it needs a Mondeo silver roof box. I do apologise my misread. I had a really nice Honda 12v generator petrol that was amazing on the fuel consumption. I think it was made for the caravaning market, but wasn’t popular so they didn’t make it for long. It was the same as the ex350 but not 240v out only 12v. The quality of build was very high much better and than their modern efforts.

Yes that was a nice item.
EX500 I expect.
The EX350 was actually a 2 stroke whereas the EX500 was a 4 stroke. The EX350 was interesting as it was the first or one of the first inverter generators.
I had an EX650 I bought new at Southampton Boat Show in 1994. Great generator that was. Very quiet and very good quality. Should have kept it.
Have also had Eu10i, EU20i and an EX2100 but the EX650 was the real deal.
Of course these are no longer required on account of the solar panels and the eremitic lifestyle.

No I think it was an EM or something. Only produced 12v no 240v so was very efficient. I seem to remember it was 20-25 amps and 12v. Very economical to run. I’ve had a few Honda generators and still got an ex1000 that is my emergency back up, to the emergency back up. Which I will only get rid of when it finally gives up the ghost. I don’t know many generators that will start 2nd or third pull even after not running for three years or so.
