My starter battery has given up the ghost. Not unexpected, I’ve been coaxing it through the last two winters. Anyway I’m thinking it might be better to try and get one delivered through what three words?Do you have to pay? Or do I have to give them lots of imformation for them to sell? Must get one sorted this week or so. I suppose it’s not bad I’ve had about eight years out of the old one?

There is no subscription or information needed for w3w. You just open the website and find your location on the map.

No cost and well worth having in emergency ... ambulance service and police use it 👍🏻
Rog
PS just for clarity, you have to pay for the battery, but I'm guessing you knew 😊

What they said. Just find your position on either the map or satellite image and click on a square, this will tell you your W3W "address". As the squares are 3m x 3m there will probably be a dozen or so to choose from covering your boat and the adjacent towpath so you have a choice, pick a memorable one. For example, I use meals.glorified.curries for my mooring, if you go onto W3W and type that into the search bar you'll get the idea.

Also, rather interestingly my Rover 75 is at dustbin.looms.coherent

I didn't realise the couriers used it.
I guess at some point one will be able to purchase a custom address. Like with numberplates.
twat.lives.here or such other amusing anecdotes.
I had to call an ambulance to divorcing.bulldozer.treatment once.

Yes that’s a good idea, I didn’t think of that. To avoid unwanted attention from his prodigy and wanna be forum bully, I’m not going to publish on a public forum what three words my address is.
