So the judges have judged Israel to be almost guilty of genocide, if course they are denying it but have been told to wind their necks in. Full judgement will arrive in a while. Free Palestine, give them their own state.

Things are backfiring badly for the Israelis. Lots of dissent there, I suspect it's massively under-reported.
The Palestinian body-count is staggering. Surely it can't go on.
A Palestinian homeland in Israel? It doesn't look likely.

Get all the hostages back first, then open up all the tunnels (300 miles in such a small area?). Stop seizing all the aid and selling on the black market. One can't help but feel that if the effort and resources that were spent in building the tunnels had been spent in developing Gaza into a relatively pleasant place to live. The tribal mentality in all the middle east and near Asia will never be able to provide a stable government. History has shown this for many millenia.

Its sad to think how badly the Israel admin want this thing to last as long as possible. Deliberately letting over a thousand of their own people be killed is rather displeasing but endless slaughter purely by dint of having bigger guns shows them up for the scum that they are. At some point decent people will overcome this.
Or are they all just terrible cunts? I don't believe that is possible but its so obvious this was all arranged it does make one wonder a little.

Perhaps things could improve if all the hostages were returned safe & sound...As some have been reported dead, this isn't going to happen.Neither side can claim to be 'Snow White' but equally neither side can be called the only baddies. And before Jim starts,I'm well aware of the history there-both sides are both right & wrong-there are no 100% good guys at the moment.

I hadn't considered potential conspiracy theories, but now that you mention it, it's obvious it's fertile ground indeed. I bet there's already a video and everything.
The materials used in the construction of the 'Gaza Metro' were supplied by Israel in the name of reconciliation and peaceful coexistence; it seems the use to which all that concrete was put was well-known. But that sort of blatant cynicism is what you get when you vote a proscribed terrorist organisation into power. Oh well.
I wonder if the Israelis will be as keen at anytime in the next hundred or so years...

Funny how the willingness of the newly-constituted Israeli state to positively negotiate a two-state solution in the mid-1940s isn't mentioned much these days, nor the outright rejection of such things by all Arab states in favour of armed conflict. Or even the fact that territory gained by exercising rights to self-defence is deemed legal under international law.
And as for having bigger guns, well it's certainly true now following the self-interested intervention of the USA, but things were very much more touch-and-go at the time. Still, it did provide a proving-ground for U.S. weapons against all the latest gear the Soviets could muster, which was largely what the opposition were armed to the teeth with (although there was a lot of British tech in the game as well - back then, the main jet fighter used by the Jordanian air force was the highly-regarded Hawker Hunter) and arguably made a significant contribution to keeping the cold war on the frosty side of things.
