It’s just what happened. It’s an example of causes of death in India. You’re the one who was making jokes about the death of people. The subject of the thread is why we don’t see as much media coverage of the european farmers as we do as the Indian. Do you have anything to say on this subject? I haven’t noticed any significant difference. Perhaps in part because we are going on a road trip to Kassel (Germany) next week and thus I am more interested in what is happening in that part of Europe than what is happening in India. But certainly a week or so ago there was more about France and Germany than about India coming into my view. Perhaps the same applies to you in reverse. Because you lived in India for several years, you are more interested in that country than Germany or France and thus you notice or perhaps even seek out news from India more than from Germany and France.

Your right it’s a matter of where your personal attention is placed. But I do think the coverage of the European farmers was rather meager to say what the amount of protests and the intensity of them. Maybe it would have got more coverage if we where still in the eu? Anyway I imagine you think they should all be shot or locked up and the keys thrown away.

Anyway I imagine you think they should all be shot or locked up and the keys thrown away. The French farmers are always revolting, but it is fairly un-German for the German farmers to be doing it too, so they probably have good cause this time. I do know that things that used to work quite well, are no longer available and have been replaced by things that don’t work well, all thanks to the EU. Coal tar epoxy blacking, paint stripper to think of just a couple. And the red diesel thing, which we seem to have escaped by the skin of our teeth for the time being. No doubt in farming world lots of established practices and stuff that worked has been disallowed by the EU office-living bureaucrats.

The likes of the BBC choose not to give a lot of coverage to news items contrary to the European order. You might have a bit more luck if you choose an alternative broadcaster. I've just done a search on the BBC news website going back to the 1st Jan.
EU farmers march gets 9 stories.
India farmers march gets 9 stories.
ooh, putting truth before an anti truth/beeb rant. This is thunderboat you know😂
