I am making chicken pakora (experimental). ETA definitely scoffable. The batter is supposed to be made from gram flour, which according to some is powdered chickpeas, but other people say this is rubbish and it's actually a kind of split pea I have never heard of. But since there isn't a shop near me that sells it, I put some chickpeas int' blender...hey presto. Also I had half a bag of lentils so that went the same way. The recipe I referred to talked about adding a bit of corn starch for purposes of texture...but I didn't have any of that either so I blended some rice to make rice flour which does much the same job. Following the recipe otherwise to the letter last night, which recommended adding fenugreek, coriander, garlic salt and chilli flakes to the batter mix, I ended up with the blandest thing on the menu. So tonight I added six green chillies chopped up finely...much better. I am stuffed after one chicken breast...very filling with the 'gram flour' batter. Tomorrow...I have a red Narga chilli to mess with. You can make pakora with just about anything...mushroom, cauli, bell peppers being the most popular veg options. The tricky bit is getting the batter consistency right. I have deduced onion bahjis are just big onion pakoras (this may be a tad reductionist). Oh and I ate them with some Tzatziki which is a middle-eastern concoction very similar to Raita (the yoghurty stuff Indian restaurants give you). I'm sure I couldn't tell the difference. Also I wanted mango chutney but the shop didnae have any so I bought something called Bhelpuri chutney instead which is apparently a Mumbai thing. The main ingredients are dates and tamarind. A bit sweet but ok. Sounds good, my favorite pakora are nettle leaves and dandelion flowers. Very good in spring although I haven’t made them this year.

The reason for this special attention is that a close friend of [ kris] Nadin's who he, being the lying super hypocrite he is, claims to have made aware of the fact that the L&L Shortboat Mersey was unlawfully seized and confiscated from its rightful owner, has - in Nadin's own words - "done a deal" with the C&RT contractors who took it, illegally, from its rightful owner, . . to pay for and take possession of Mersey, despite knowing that the vessel is, under the terms and provisions of the TCE Act 2007, in effect, stolen property. What I actually said Tony was he got a good deal because Mersey didn’t need any plating work. So if your going to accuse me of things makes sure it’s correct. But then your an habitual liar, so what else can I expect but more of your lies. The person who bought Mersey is fully aware of the recent history of the boat and how it came to be for sale. So why would i put you in contact with him?

He has got it stuck in his brain that endless shit will somehow cause someone searching for CRT section 8 to find the forum and experience enlightenment. Or more likely endarkenment. Its basically related to the episode where Mrs Tabby repeatedly called Mr D a bush dodger. This -was- effective in SEO terms but one must remember that it is toweringly improbable that anyone would ever search for an irrelevant individual's name. On the other hand people might search for the CRT section 8. This could actually happen. I can imagine a situation where someone who is writing negative shit on here does a search and they do find this forum. This could lead them to believe that the seo was working when actually all that is happening is that the device being used is responding to the patterns presented by the user. A personal search on the internet will throw up already found things because the trackers know what you are doing. So there are three things. 1. Misunderstanding of how internet works. 2. Chip on shoulder. 3. MCI. Or Maybe SCI. Why are you engaging? Its turning into blatantly pointless trolling. RIP Thunderboat.

Sometimes it is sensible to sink Boats deliberately so they can not come adrift and cause damage. Some Boats belong on the bottom or cut into small manag able pieces. Why are you engaging? Its turning into blatantly pointless trolling. RIP Thunderboat.

History tells us that the actions of the Suffragettes held back emancipation by about 10-15 years. Great opener. Tell us more. I kind of doubt it as well. But have found he’s not worth entering into discussion with. He posts wide sweeping generalisations which even when you point out are incorrect, he just blunders on. It’s pretty well excepted that Mahatma Gandhi’s direct action and civil disobedience helped bring about independence for India. But if you want to argue with 1.4billion Indians then that’s fine. Some of his ideas and actions are questionable but not that he helped bring about the end of British rule.
