5 am this morning on trent steps a car woke me up blaring music out of it.if that's wot you call music as it sounds like someone's in pain and dieing. Feels like I'm abroad with those ppl about. Wish they funk off back too there own country oh and take there music back with them too as then it would be more peaceful he he he . update it's 6.15 now and they've gone thank fuc....was in hospital not long ago a foreigner dr came up too me asking me questions. Fuc could I understand him with his language .dont know how he understands me wen I couldn't understand him not very good wen you feel like ur dieing and in hospital and I speak English maybe the hospital should give you a english dr .suppose if they sent the them all back then there won't be no terrorism too and plenty more jobs for people who can speak English

well that really sums it all up ..................... NOT !!
I suppose if they sent all the 'foreign' doctors back (to where they or their grandparents originated??) there would be no competent health service. In 1981 an Egyptian surgeon saved my life during a 7 hour operation in Westminster Hospital.

Was that the 'old Westminster hospital...near Houses Parliament..?Page St Sorry to go off thread but your comment brought back memories I trained in the old Westminster Hospital and left in 1979....we had some very good drs there...remember a foreign plastic surgeon who was brilliant but had to operate under the 'umbrella' of Brit born consultant as his licence to practise here was delayed or something like that... We had a ward there with 4 centre rooms which had no mirrors in the bathrooms as they did this horrendous head and neck surgery for cancer. One of the best consultants there was Prof Ellis..East Ender ..real cockney...who said it as it was. It was here that my 'must be a nurse' really took root.
