I often read that some people would like to put a face on a name. While going through some old photos I found, there's a photo of the guy that used to look at me in the mirror in 1972. I realised that some things don't change much, as that guy is still wearing the same sort of jeans now, only the waist size has changed (a bit) Peter. Knowing you today, that is one hell of a change Peter! Roger

Roger Are you serious Roger, I don't think I've changed all that much, after a good search I may even be able to find my old Ray-Ban sunglasses again, and if I put them on when we meet again, if I may have that pleasure, you'll see that I still look very much the same The years don't seem to have much of an effect on me, if I may say so. Peter.

I dunno. A determined pervert could peep through the gap underneath them.
(Splendid yot by the way. what engine does it have?)

Perhaps, after MM's failed waterbased funerals service offerings, he's looking at branching into water based 'dogging' where random voyeurs can stoop and peep at his intimate behaviours Whilst randomly walking along the towpath! 👌

I dunno. determined pervert could peep through the gap underneaish them. (Splendid yot by the way. what engine does it have?) It is very handsome, and I'm a confirmed narrow boat fan. In addition to the engine question, how old is It? (sorry if you've answered in an earlier thread and I missed it) Rog

I closed the gap today when I noticed that the cloths were folded in half. So i opened the cloths to their full size and now the entire windows are obscured by these lovely pink cloths. In the evening with lights in the cabin and steamy windows I think there would be some opportunity to see in if anyone was really interested Not entirely sure on age of boat but I think C1980 (Colvic 20 GRP hull and foredeck). Could be newer than that. Engine is a Kubota Marine twin - not sure if its original but there is a receipt for £1005 for the engine / hurth gearbox .

Even at 58, I'm still so ruggedly handsome that I appeared as the cover pin-up boy on a calendar this year. Not a slaphead or a ginger either, it doesn't get much better than that.

I heard that SAS and similar work can promote rugged appearance in some operatives. There is a downside though which is that retired operatives often find it necessary to keep offensive weapons close to hand .

On 35 calendars as it happens. How peculiar is that?
