We came across the CocoNutters' boat in Skipton last Summer, which led to me reading about them. They gave us a leaflet which I still have here. I've never been to Bacup - it's always sounded to me like a disease caused by tobacco.

Oh no.... Putin's gone and asked if she's Macron's mother-in-law. Those Russian's can be so insensitive at times.

Back to the Royal Wedding.....Despite my early intention to steer well clear of any celebration of the event....... Invited to proper tea party held to mark the event with mountains fabulous cakes and pink sparkling wine in glasses that'd been dipped in chocolate...however still avoided seeing any footage or hearing any news......instead managed to find a spare bloke to rock n roll/waltz and dance the time away with.... Words of advice..its probably wise if u wait until the chocolate begins to melt before consuming...attempting to nibble the chocolate off a glass not a good idea.........

That is strangely hypnotic, and enormously enjoyable to watch.

I think this quote from wikepedia sums it up
The dance begins with each Nutter cocking a hand to his ear to listen to something we human folk can’t catch. They then wag a finger at each other, and they’re off, stamping and circling, occasionally holding bent wands covered with red, white and blue rosettes that they weave into simple patterns. It’s not pretty and it’s not clever. It is, simply, awe-inspiringly, astonishingly other. Morris men from southern troupes come and watch in slack-jawed silence. Nothing in the civilised world is quite as elementally bizarre and awkwardly compelling as the Coco-nutters of Bacup
