I've just searched that site to see if there are any entries for Nick Norman...unbelievably, there isn't! π naughty but funny. The poor, foolish boy has obviously never grasped the concept of pseudonyms!

This is getting a bit silly now....... LINKDo we have to listen to every single survivors mates's best friends grief? Grief can be shown at funerals or memorial services. This is rapidly becoming a bus trip for every Tom, Dick & Harry's outpouring of grief. If it's allowed to continue the enquirey will take years. The enquiry should be entirely about establishing the FACTS of the fire, and learning from the mistakes or errors made, so hopefully, they're never repeated.

No - the enquiry should be all about lawyers making fat fees - after all, some of them might like to go to Spain for swimming, and candle-lit evening meals, and chilling with their mates, just like the designer of the new CRT logo. Also, to keep the public entertained whilst Theresa May-Be-Brexit-May-Be-Not and Bonkin'-Boris do some more shifty under-the-table deals with the Euro-Nazis and the Slimy French who just tag along.

How many might have been alive today if they hadn't paid lots of money to be carried across the Mediterranean in a dinghy and given a backhander to a dodgy-lookin' bloke so they could live in his flat in Grenfell Tower?

I've been an expert witness (for Rolls Royce) on a good few AAIB enquiries, and In law courts over the years. The last thing I want to hear when establishing the facts of an aircraft crash, is poor old Tom (the doomed passenger's) best mate mum, saying she was on the phone to him last night. The same principles should apply here with The Grenfell Enquiry. Third party testimonials / statements should be dismissed, unless of course they were direct witnesses.

I never said anything to anyone about being- or not being on the phone, but the very sad fact is that I've lost 3 family members when the MH-17 crashed (was shot down).
Peter.

Sorry to hear that Peter.... Some people just have to share their burden of grief and I guess it can cloud the facts..they perhaps don't fully understand that these enquiries need to focus on fact.

Celotex manufactured the cladding for Grenfell Towers Who here on this forum, has Celotex insulation on their boat? Who here has Celotex insulation in their house, (up and down the country)?.....Answer...Millions. How do you know that Celotex products are not inflammable, until they've been properly tested ? These are the facts that the enquiry will look into. They don't need to be clouded by poor Abul's second removed cousin.

The Inquiry starts looking at the facts next week, hopefully it doesn't look at how many people on TB think the Inquiry is an enquiry!
