Celotex manufactured the cladding for Grenfell Towers Who here on this forum, has Celotex insulation on their boat? Who here has Celotex insulation in their house, (up and down the country)?.....Answer...Millions. How do you know that Celotex products are not inflammable, until they've been properly tested ? These are the facts that the enquiry will look into. They don't need to be clouded by poor Abul's second removed cousin. The Inquiry starts looking at the facts next week, hopefully it doesn't look at how many people on TB think the Inquiry is an enquiry! Depends whether you're American or not I tend to go the English way.

Those sort of things you'll always hear, true or not.
I never said anything to anyone about being- or not being on the phone, but the very sad fact is that I've lost 3 family members when the MH-17 crashed (was shot down).
Peter.
My condolences on your loss Peter. Thanks stumpy, happenings like that are very hard (impossible) to forget, it will be 4 years july 17th, and only a couple of days it came back in the news
It has been absolutely terrible, the forensics that were sent over wheren't allowed to come anywhere near the wrackage, and it was extremely difficult to find out who was who, as all the completely destructed bodies were spreaded out over a huge surface, and everything that could have helped them, like wedding rings, watches, passports, family photos etc, was already stolen by the basterds that were showing their treasures proudly off to journalists.
Of one member of my family they've only found a few left overs, but crap like that is happening more often, but as you're not closely involved, it's easy to forget.
Peter.

This is getting a bit silly now....... LINKDo we have to listen to every single survivors mates's best friends grief? Grief can be shown at funerals or memorial services. This is rapidly becoming a bus trip for every Tom, Dick & Harry's outpouring of grief. If it's allowed to continue the enquirey will take years. The enquiry should be entirely about establishing the FACTS of the fire, and learning from the mistakes or errors made, so hopefully, they're never repeated. that's not the fireman fault. that will be them following government legislation. in Southampton we have scissor blocks. front doors are only on off floors. one flat goes down and the next flat goes up. we has down flat so our front door was on level 11 but the fire exit from our bedroom was on level 9. lovely big flats. any way in one of the other blocks there as a fire. and wiring collapses onto two fireman and killed them. there as an enquiry and they realised the rule book does not work in scissor blocks. so hampshire fire brigade were invited to rewrite the rule book. I reckon there will be a similar outcome. strangely the day we moved out was their day to learn more. the entire building as full with fireman as they practised putting put different fires in different flats. we a nightmare carrying everything out with hoses running everywhere.

that is shocking. no mention if they will be deported after their sentences are up or if they have to repay it. what it does do is sum up how much this is costing. surely at those hotel prices it would of been cheaper to knock up another block of flats for them all. how much has the council paid out? they maybe in trouble after the inquiry. if the insurers refuse to pay out.
