No, shall I go and ask why not?
Seriously it was a very welcome unasked for and unexpected return of some simple but important help I gave them - wish everyone returned help like this. I suppose Foxy some would say the foreign looking people just offered me their leftovers and there would be some truth in that...but.......

You've been fraternising with the wogs then
(Giggle)
We had the parents meeting with the teachers today. Kids enjoying school. Both teachers white english as it happens. I'm white English upper class and the misses is of white African peasant origin. There are no white kids in either of my daughters' classes (6 y.o and 8 y.o). We did previously have them in a more mixed school "the one that all the chattering class whites dream of" but chose to remove them due to idiot problems with the school staff.
For some reason I don't mind the wogs. They may be wogs but at the end of the day kids are kids. Not sure I'd fancy it in secondary school though.
My personal belief is that 96.87% of education happens at home even if they go to school.
State schools. I don't believe in private its a scam.

I've got nothing against 'foreigners' as long as they're not slimy liars and cheats. It's the way people behave that I look at, not at their skin colour. I take people as they come. Some are nice, some are downright foul.

I was booked to go to India but when Horror House went on the market I cancelled all travel plans to get this sorted first..enjoy your time away..we will all still be here. Was that to Goa? no it was part of a cruise I booked onto..3 ports. I find cruises on smaller ships quite good for me as I can mix if I want to or solo and keep myself to myself...also means I get my ballroom dancing as there is normally some random who wants to dance.

It occurred to me then that I ought to learn to ballroom dance in preparation for some nice over winter holidays during retirement... Alas being a ginger, dispraxic and now fat puff - WITH a dodgy back and knee I doubt that will ever happen now.

Certainly looks safer than Finland, no Russians A lot of the crime in Finland is made by foreigners - Russians, Romanian gippoes and Somalis. Finland's own 'gypsies' (of Indian origin) have a reputation for being benefits scroungers ("young pensioners" the Finns call them, as even the teenagers are too lazy to study or do honest work). Looks like 'Multiculturalism' and 'Integration' ain't working too well in England: " He said: 'The day before the riot there was an incident between a Yemeni girl and a Eastern European girl and her headscarf was ripped off.' " " Amjad Yasin, 40, who has two boys aged 13 and 14 at the school, claimed it was a girl from Somalia who was involved in the alleged fight with an Eastern European girl, before 'one girl's headscarf was torn off'. " " Police with dogs swarmed Fir Vale School in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, to break up a riot involving 100 people at lunchtime on Tuesday. The building was placed in lockdown following the violence, which was described as 'like World War Three'. " What a waste of Police resources. I'd suggest any foreigners not behaving themselves in the UK be shipped off back to where they came from, and not be allowed back. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6215949/Shocking-footage-shows-mass-brawl-erupt-school-canteen.html#reader-comments (it's probably in The Times, Telegraph, Observer and so-called 'Independent' also). ps - that's not to say a lot of Finns are thieving, two-faced lying scum as well, especially the politicians!

There's a nice narrow boat built at Braunston called "Clent" it used to be part of the UCC hire fleet. Another one was "Laughton". Quality boats. Pete Boyce is just putting the finishing touches on Clent's restoration. She should be back in the water next year.

UCC also had a steel pleasure boat called Clent 50ft long.
