Welcome to TB, . . and congratulations on your perspicacity ! We can get quite heated and argumentative here, but, unlike CWDF, we can get it all off our chests without any intervention from a coven of menopausal old ratbags. But not without solicitor intervention apparently. it will get worked out and no-one will be chastised with warning points or banned. That's how real life works.

Should you really be posting personal information about someone, even if you do have an axe to grind with them ? Well, I don't mind myself, and having been the director of a limited company my personal details are all over the internet anyway but I understand from other forums that publicly identifying members on forums is considered a serious breach of ProBoard's Terms and Conditions so although I won't be running off to a no-win no-fee solicitor after the New Year about it, Dickhead Dunkley should be aware that this behaviour is a potential reason for ProBoards to close down the whole Thunderboat forum. Yes, but to be fair, so does incitiement.

Sigh, this is starting to sound like something from the other place...π I agree. Take it outside boys, youre lowering the tone. I don't think the ladies of the forum would resort to all this mud slinging.... I think TD and Mr S. should go to a pub, have a few pints and settle this amicably... one of my sons got in serious s... at school...a fight which ultimately ended his school days..anyway lots of trouble over it., threats, forbidden to enter school grounds for football training with a club that used the school facilities..few years down the line he met his 'victim'..the guy stuck his hand out, shook sons hand and they went off to the pub....differences set aside....The incident had been a major blown up out of proportion event, caused years of hassle cos of the schools reaction..yet the two involved settled it without any more unpleasantness. Can be done...Let it all go.

Utter nonsense, as usual, . . but you really should read ProBoards T&C's with regard to some of your activity, . . such as, for instance : Paragraph 2 in :- < thunderboat.boards.net/post/150002/thread >

I'd say most people have fun user names. For fun. Not for hiding behind. This is an internet forum in the year 2018, not the British Library in 1873. 'Fun' names, as you describe them, are simply that, just 'fun' names, . . . but I can't help having some serious doubts as to the state of mind of someone who labels himself as 'MrStabby', and is happy to post the sort of thing he did on 25 December 2018 at 1804 hrs on page 2 of the "What do you think the chances are?" thread. We all know how he came by the MrStabby title, unless you were late to the party. I think it is a very good name, considering the situation(s) and story behind it.

So are we entering a world where we canβt call eachother a twat in the virtual world, but itβs still acceptable in the real world? None of us can act online without consequences of our actions. Many seem to think that it's just a make believe world that shouldn't be taken seriously, I question that view. Something the world is still pondering on to find a solution, in my opinion.

I get it delivered every 2 weeks. The cartoon jokes in it are lame, but the reporting of the two-faced, and scam artists (includes politicians) is First Class. Through me, a P.Eye journalist has helped to enlighten the world on the lightship Planet incident - well composed articles straight to the point. Not sure what the situation with Planet is - Tony has gone rather quiet on it - and as for slanderous comments, what has Steve Beacham made of Tony's outpourings?!!
