Someone told me the reason you are not allowed to moor on the lock free section of the Olympic park was because it is tidal. It is not tidal.
Same level as Limehouse cut which was once partly tidal but no longer is due to the modification of Bow Lock to have gates pointing both ways. And the Thames barrier prevents any excessively high tides.
I wonder whether it was genuine ignorance or something else. It looks tidal as it has high walls but it isn't.

Perhaps they could send that submarine and load to moor outside the houses of parliament when its a full house!! show the barstewards what happens when they try to break the democratic will of the people! With luck, their could be a large 15 million anti brexit demo going on at the same time.......................................

Not just a tin foil hat merchant; It's often said the cream rises to the top. Unfortunately so does the scum. The tribunal's decision today to disbar Mr Shrimpton also relates to his conviction in 2014 of an offence contrary to the Protection of Children Act 1978 following his making of images or pseudo images of children. For this offence, he was sentenced to a three-year Supervision Order, was made the subject of a five-year Sex Offender Prevention Order and placed on the Sex Offender Register for five years.

Jim it hasnt made a blind bit of difference, in fact on the political programs this morning they think that people are really reacting badly from the remainer politicians taking the piss like they are. Just look at Paris when the politicians take the piss, think of London going the same way when the Brexiteers start doing the same, its not going to end well if the politicians dont start listening to the majority

Possibly worth noting at this point that Paris and France in general is populated by a lot of French people Rather than sit in front of an Aga and moan about fuel duty on TV they get out and do "on n'est pas fatigué" (we are not tired) marches. Its another world. I can't see that happening in Englandland. Would probably be good if it did happen but I don't think it will happen.

Yet the remain half are supposed to put up with it, even though they are now the majority?

Its all a bit of fun getting the plebs to vote on shit they know nothing about.
How about having a plebiscite on the topic of allowing police in pursuit cars to deliberately injure teenagers who have hotwired mopeds and stolen cell phones?
Or maybe a vote for vigilante action now that there are no rozzers available. That would be a good one.

Jim its called democracy, we have a vote then do the wishes of the majority, what you dont do unless you support banana republics is ignore that vote, Its very dangerous and will mean that people will never trust Parliament again. If this Brexit process ends in riots, because undemocratic people seek to overturn what was voted for, those people will have to shoulder that blame because that is where it will firmly lay

" My concern would be the David Lammy, et. al., grapevine bussing in balaclava clad ANTIFA to cause agro – having told the unpopular press beforehand exactly where – so that they can set up for the best camera angles and edit the footage together for their “FAR RIGHT CAUSES CHAOS IN THE STREETS OF LONDON!” fake news reports. I've not had a straight answer from a leaver yet, on that question. The major problem here, apart from the Irish border, is that its a 50 50 split of those that voted. Tears before bedtime whichever way you look.

Says who? Anyway, assuming they are the majority today... what happens if they are the minority tomorrow, then the majority on Tuesday, and then the minority again on Wednesday? How many referendums shall we have? One a week, one a day, one every 5 minutes? Shall we have a referendum to stay in the United Mafia Nations (which sounds just like the EU but with weapons!): " Each member Nation pays a percentage of its GDP each year to the UN . (Sound familiar?). You and I pay from our taxes, a club membership each year that allows this organisation to function. (Sound familiar?). Each year this organization appoints (at your expense) special envoys, reporters and committees to decide your future, regardless of whether or not you agree (Sound familiar?) This organisation has effectively a “President”, who is elected, but not by you. (Sound familiar?) Advice and Recommendations are handed down for your Government to act on (Sound familiar?). Governments who do not do as they are told, do not comply or resist the will of the UN, can be sanctioned by the all powerful “Security Council” (Sound familiar?). Members (unelected) can claim expenses for almost anything (including prostitutes, drugs and “entertainment ” (Sound familiar?) Of the many billions the organisation receives each year, it always runs at a deficit, its balance sheets and monies are not audited by any other organisation than the “United Nations Council of Audit ” which, surprise surprise, is an in house organisation.! Finally, quite a few of the Secretary Generals (Generals?) have had previous allegence to the Nazi Party of WW2 fame, or are now (or who have been) involved in laundering and other forms of criminality. One last fact. The UN can declare ( with its paying members consent) warfare on anyone who doesn’t toe the line! Food for serious thought I think ! "
