I could understand "keep it simple scum" but "stupid" is such a weak and pointless word. RTFM is OK because it has the F word which has some force behind it. Stupid is a word kids use in primary school. Perhaps it's just too close to home? ππππ OK let's dissect your "they beat eggs" comment. Egg whisk is a jovial description of a propeller which creates poor thrust specially props designed for high speed but used on displacement vessels. These are available for outboards if you wanted to plane a small speedboat. A Honda 4 blade prop creates high levels of thrust. Saying it "beats eggs" implies that it is an egg whisk which is the joke term for a propeller lacking in thrust. My comment "it beats egg whisks" was simply pointing out that it is better than the lower thrust "egg whisk" propeller.. Geddit ?

But it's still just an egg whisk, albeit a high thrust one. The joke had already been made, honed, polished and presented. When you are in a hole...... Let me know and I might come and pull you out.

Sorry my understanding of the term egg whisk is that it is specifically an ineffective propeller. Not just a propeller per se.
So I would therefore have to reject your argument.
