Isn't the aileron on the top spitfire deflected in the opposite direction to the way it is banking? Looks to me like the aileron is down. When the aileron goes down, it increases the lift and makes the wing go up. Make sure that's clear before you set off, eh?

You're an absolute twat Nick, wasting all that money. For £50 I would have let you have 30 minutes riding my moped up and down the farm track. 50 quid for half an hour of flying? Just under 600 here for 34 hours with limitless red wine. I don't look at the labels on red wine bottles other than the all important abv which weighed in at a highly impressive 14.5.

Mate of mine just booked a Spitfire flight to celebrate his impending retirement. £3600 for 30 mins or £5000 for an hour. He went for the hour, flash git! And he can take a camera apparently. Jealous? Me!! Too bloody right I am...

Seen a few spitfires fly, my old man used to take me to duxford for the air shows as a kid, even now i love the sounds of the rolls royce merlin purring...

Seen a few spitfires fly, my old man used to take me to duxford for the air shows as a kid, even now i love the sounds of the rolls royce merlin purring... Enjoy, you git. I've seen that thing where a Sptifire, a Hurricane and a Lancaster fly in formation a few times.
