No snow in Rotherham, but what we did have today was police divers breaking the ice to look for a missing lady

Just taken the Mutt out, it's braw outside, windy, sleeting and settling on the ice, glad to be back in the warm - didn't even need to tell the Mutt to get inside...

Still 28-32 here in Bali. Scared shitless yesterday, saw a shark while I was out surfing. You've never seen me paddle in so fast. Think it was a reef shark which tend to nibble at limbs rather than engulf whole surfers but still.. On the way in saw this huge brown creature wallowing around I'm told it was a dugong, also known as a sea cow. Quite rare apparently, and very unusual in these parts.

Well it must be bad. Over the last ten years we must have had snow settle 4 times and we always get it last. Last year we had it quite bad with the army being called into the new forest. Its been snowing for around four hours and still going. For us to have this much snow already the rest of the country must be covered.

"Swathes of Britain are crippled today after 'doomsday' snow caused chaos" - oh deary me!"some getting up to ten inches overnight" - Ricco exaggerating again"The overnight lowest temperature was -15.4C (4.3F) in the Aberdeenshire village of Braemar - making it the coldest night since February 11, 2012."
"At least 400 students were stranded at Callywith College in Bodmin because school buses could not get there." - time to call naughtyfox, methinks! Been driving on snow & ice this morning already (breakfast time at home, right now)."A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in an east London park last night as temperatures plunged to freezing and blizzards hit the capital."

Canal still frozen solid here, but water on the houdini hatch this morning, not ice No sign of snow yet, but it was supposed to be sweeping north from the south west. I think thebfg has got it all (and very welcome to it too). Rog

No nice on the wall to school either Weather warning in place till 11 but it seems to have stopped. It was windy last night so it should of pushed northward. Which is odd as it normally comes down the country.
