I took some washing over to my Mum's yesterday, I collapsed loading the washing machine and now have several bruises. My 80+ year old mum says let me load that for you. So I think using a washing machine might need a proper health assessment. Maybe she will die and leave you enough money to bend the elbow and leave killing yooze self for later. I tried to manifest this. But in the end it is better than clutching your nuts, everyone's going to pieces, pulling out guns for a mercy clipping and all your intestines is mashed out through your balls.

Mum leaves everthing to the eldest, I'm the youngest... She will outlive me anyway.
Anyway, back to the weather, looking fairly mild and benign for the rest of the week.

Misty and cloudy this morning so far but it's dry and supposed to clear soon.
Chance of a shower this afternoon.
Blink and it's May ... how quick the year seems to slip by.
We'll probably move on a little further today ... Bank Holiday weekend coming up isn't it ?

Bit milder today.
River mostly on red so not many Boats out. Everyone no doubt wondering if its going to be red for the bank horrorday. Forecast has some rain in it so it seems quite probable. Bit of a wet winter !
Might be interesting to read the water situation report.

Bit of a rant but Blissworth tunnel I had a slow canal time boat and a day boat in front of me.
I had stopped at the entrance to make a brew and create a gap but never the less I quickly caught them and had to travel in tick over ... no problem, they were having fun.
We passed five boats in the tunnel and all was fine with the first three.
The 4th boat was blindingly bright with THREE headlights all pointing forward.
It was impossible to do anything other than stop against the wall and let it by. Why does anyone need three lamps ?
The 5th had two lamps so I was obliged to follow the same procedure, only he collided with our bow.
Two lamps and he still can't steer.
Ooh I was vexed.
Rog
ETA and his only response was to say "a little bump"

Maybe worth having a LED light bar of your own. If everyone is completely blinded the. it might be alright.

First time I went through Blissworth was on a hire boat August Bank Holiday weekend, got shouted at by the boat behind for going too slow, got shouted at by the boat in front for getting too close, got shouted at by a couple of boats coming the other way for blinding them, got shouted at by a couple of boats coming the other way for not staying on my side.
We turned at Gayton to go back, was just a weekend hire, I refused to go back through the tunnel until I had calmed down and had a couple of drinks, my friend said she would take over steering despite refusing to do so previously. Just as we approached the ttunnel portal a boat came out, the friend panicked and put the boat in full reverse, we ended up embedded in the mud and trees on the offside.
A pint or two and lots of heaving on poles and advice from passing boaters and we were free, I had to drive the boat back through the tunnel after a complete refusal from friend. Luckily we went through on our own and only had to pass two boats (rather than a continous line of boats). We stopped for further refreshment at Stoke Bruerne and later weaved our way to Cosgrove.

Wish I'd had it today for the ex-Challenger share boat Vulcan and his 'little bump' ... no damage done, just the minor irritation of being blinded and then the twat hits me anyway 🤣 Rog

Designed to make your body ready for the flight or fight. When ever my dog was scared or thought she might get to chase something she would have at least two poo's.
