He won't go. He knows himself he likes the freedom over here, no matter how much he pretends otherwise.

But he hasn’t actually achieved anything yet, has he? He just lies and cheats his way through life and some find this to be acceptable. Of course many politicians do this. Boris though is so brazen about it, that I suspect he will get his comeuppance at some stage. Of course he has remain plotiticians and papers are screaming blue murder and they are only doing this because the rug has been pulled from under them. The only way to get a good deal is to have no deal on the table and it is You class annoying people as an achievement? Fair enough then.

Good man is our Nick. I’ve had boaters singing his praises this morning. As for Jeff and his baking..well the superlatives just keep on coming. Ali wonders how come all she got was an ice cube!

Toot! Toot! That's not Wakefield. Looks like Tewkesbury. Late Spring/early Summer 2013.

I never said it was pearley's boat in Wakefield, just that it seems to match the description - there's an interview about pearley and his/their boating on the Internet.

Only 2 boats at Fall ING this afternoon when we came through. Which was yours,? It's the red one next one along from effe weg, by the garage. Which is your boat? There were some moored round the bend, including the funny grp barge, when we walked back from the Hepworth this afternoon. Just a question Jim, the "effe weg" that you wrote about, is that a boat ? If it is, it may belong to Dutch folks, or Brits that have ties with the Dutch. "effe weg" means "gone away for a moment", which is a rather nice name for a boat (if it is a boat). Peter.

When First looked at the pic I thought some bastard has nicked the cover over our coal, then I looked closer and realised it wasn't Wakefield. What interview?

It's a tiny Dutch style barge, I posted pics of it last year, someone said it had been a water bowser boat in a port. I think that's a lovely name, now I know what it means.

Found it. Effe Weg. "I found a milepost as we cruised. This one says that we are 19 miles from Fall Ing Lock. There have been several listing the distance from Fall Ing as we came along." Just who is the idiot who put up that Fall Ings sign - and more to the point, why hasn't CRT corrected it?
