You keep tagging me, Rog, but I already have a girlfriend, and I have seen your unsightly legs (the horror!). 14 locks before lunch today, 4 up, 10 down, and all in pouring rain. And that's it, stopped for the day, already at our destination by 1445. Fire blazing away, wet rainclothes dripping in the shower, Chenin blanc and chicken noodle soup. Only 3 other boats seen on the move today - where are all the Japanese and American tourists, eh? What a waste of a canal and all the scenery!

As Steve Haywood used his boat as a weapon and deliberately crashed into another boat to inflict damage, will he be going to prison to be raped?

Canals are always quiet October to April ... best time to go boating if you can tolerate the weather. There's something immensely satisfying about harsh weather boating, then after mooring retiring indoors to sit and doze near the stove. Making me home sick Rog ETA I feel I am obliged to tag a person If mentioned ... just seems polite.

Trina was right, they really are going to town on him on the fb groups. I have seen his ban the bully article getting slated too.

It's certainly interesting that although this video has been widely shared among canal forums and Facebook groups, including at least two of which he is known to be an active member and fairly prolific contributor, that there seems to have been no comment he has wished to make despite the opportunity this would have given him to put across his side of the story. I do feel this was Mr Haywood's "Ratner moment" and that his position as a complete tosser has been confirmed. FTFY 👍🍻😜 I thought he was "Dog" on CWDF.

Does anyone else think enough is enough? He hasn’t actually murdered anyone. I know what he did was wrong but maybe the fallout is a little OTT?

What's creepy is the name of his boat: Justice.
Is he a member of the judiciary?
Justice for whom?
For whom doth the bell toll?

Maybe he has early onset Alzheimer's. I knew a perfectly pleasant chap at the sailing club with it and he became angry and short short tempered. Eerily he rammed me once after becoming convinced he was on a starboard tack and had right of way. It was one of the things that alerted his wife as he was a life long sailor and sailing teacher who knew all the rules and certainly knew port from starboard. If it really is out of character...but then again, as Foxy says, what kind of bloke names his boat Justice? A pompous arse would be my guess.
