I found a somewhat flattened hedge pig out on the road the other day. Was thinking of posting it off to phil70 for resurrection, along with a Gallon of fresh water, stamped and self addressed, to be returned as red wine.

Sorry Jim, the impossible we can do immediately but miracles take a bit longer. Phil

Well that's it, 'Arry has gone to the sanctuary. When I opened his travelling box he brought gasps of delight and cries of "well done" because he is massive at 988gms the max weight for captive hogs is 900gms so 'Arry is truly a bruiser Was unable to get film of his release because he was whisked away as it was feeding time when I rocked up He is going to be in company of 3 other boys and 4 girls so is going to have a "nice" time. The woman who runs it had over a 1000 hogs through the door in 2019, I take my hat off to her because caring for 1 was quite taxing, she is blessed with some able volunteers. She asked me if I might be up for caring for another one, I skillfully dodged the question. So that's it folks, the thread is finishedπ€π

Last night I had a visitation from a pair of hogs that I've seen in the garden late at night. I was taking the dogs out for a pre bedtime waz when I heard some serious grunting and as I looked round my head torch caught the pair "at it" so now I will soon be looking out for Hoglets. Phil

Same here. I was going to film them but wasn't sure if it was suitable for TB, and anyway, they stumbled into the ditch before I had time to get the camera and disappeared from view. We will keep an eye out for little ones, and leave cat biscuits out.
