Good for you patty ... I keep catching Jane looking at dog rescue programmes and sites ... can only be a matter of time for us Rog Are you sure she's not going to get you "rescued"? ππππ

Saw him perform in his burning hat at an allnighter in Leeds in 73 ish. But always preferred Firestarter to perform a fire act to.

Have you tried walking daughters on a lead, maybe with one of those halters so you can control them? Not so much controlling them as I do manage to get them to settle on lead...daughter and son in law rarely have them on a lead..I do because I worry they will cause an accident. No its the fact I walk them and thats it....they r not mine therefor don't really relate to me. Nothing quite like your own pet. Hehehe, you said "daughters" not "daughter's". Long live the Apostrophe Preservation Society. I meant "daughters" π€£ππ€£π

I think you also meant "halti" not "halter" No. Fits round muzzle so lead is attached to muzzle, rather than collar. Dogs necks aren't strong sideways, so they can't pull you along like with the collar lead. I've used a couple of different makes.

Ok. That's called a "Halti" A "Halter" is used for horses and ponies. Ask me how I know this. Think Horse and Hound magazine. I'm a subscriber. Dogs don't have halters. Some people think they do but some people also think boats have walls. It takes all sorts I guess.

Halti is a mountain partially in Finland. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HaltiHelsinki approaches at 200km/h and it's time for me to disappear into deepest, darkest Berkshire and see if I can grab some sunrise and sunset photos for sticking up here in 4 weeks' time. Happy Christmas to all those that deserve it!

Dogmatic are brilliant - the dwarf can manage a 40kg Rottie unaided π The original Halti (@someboater is correct on this tradename btw...) is not a patch on the Dogmatic as it can ride up into the eye area which is uncomfortable for the hound wearing it. We have both, the Halti is used only when the Dogmatic has been mislaid!
