Not on the spot you don't but I suspect the framework exists whereby IF you were challenged by a copper or similar authority based figure with legal backup it would go to law and you would need to prove why you are exempt. The exemption is available for a good reason. Saying that you can just make it up is too simplistic. Yes you can, at the time. If it went further then it could get quite technical. No - if wearing a face mask causes you distress, that's it. You can also say you don't need to wear a face mask because you have an IQ above 50, and have long since sussed that 'Covid' is a scam. If you really can't be bothered with the attentions of the terminally brain-dead you can buy a "fuck off" lanyard for £1.19 on ebay.

I have deliberately kept out of all the covid threads but this news item did make me laugh. People in Quebec cannot buy cannabis or liquor unless they have been vaccinated.

If ever you wanted proof that vaccination has nothing to do with the control of an infectious disease, then this is it. This is simply punishment for non-compliance with the State edict. I can sort-of understand why people fell for this nonsense two years ago, what I can't understand is why anyone would still fall for it now. "New cases are spiking in Quebec despite the region having one of the highest vaccination rates in the world." Oh, ok, that's going well then.

As we all know, and you are demonstrating, facts don't figure highly in the delusional covid deniers' minds. But for the record, a vaccine against covid didn't exist two years ago. And also for the record, I think the strategy is great! Canadian people will have to choose between their alcohol urges and getting a vaccination that helps to protect them and other people. A great stategy for thick people who believe what they read on Facebook and Youtube.

You don't fool me Nick... you're just pretending to be stupid.

Well, look, it's like this. Canadians will still buy bread, and toilet paper. Are they less likely to spread Covid while buying these than alcohol or cannabis?
Answer, no.
So it is clearly just punishment- the removal of pleasure- for refusing to comply with a State diktat. Had you gone to a proper school you would be able to understand this.
But you didn't, so you don't.

It could be really handy for anyone who knows the vaccine is not necessary and also wants to tackle a drink problem.
Revolutionary in fact, for the lucky few.
Plus of course alcohol will still be available anyway !

Let me explain to you, yet again. The vaccine does not stop you getting covid. It does not stop you from spreading it. It does not stop you from carrying it, and you definitely do not know if it would save your life. It’s not them that are thick, it’s you being gullible and thick. Simple really to anyone with some common sense.

Yes but IF it came down to it you would have to prove the exemption. Nobody needs to 'prove' an exemption - you can just say that wearing a face mask causes me distress - by law, people are not allowed to ask you what your 'disability' is. Not all disabilities are hidden: I'm going to regret this, but. Which law are you relying on, in the first 6 months of the law being passed 1000 people were fined for not wearing a mask. How were they fined if no one can ask? The very text you wrote says you shouldn't have to routinely prove it, that's very different to you don't have to prove it whatsoever.
