Sir Kier, having had the intelligence and foresight to familiarise himself with Boris' own rules, is innocent, as is everyone at the work event. After a very thorough investigation Durham Police say there is no case to answer.
How much ink and paper, keyboard wear, police time, has been wasted by the Tory effort to denigrate an innocent group of people, in their effort to prove 2 wrongs make a right, justification formtheir own wrongdoing. There was only one Party at fault, Boris is now going out of the door, all criticism of him justified. Hopefully they will now choose from one of the few honourable Tories for a new leader.

Rather like the months of denial from Johnson that he did anything wrong or was even at any parties? Quite something from the man in charge of βmaking the rulesβ.
All this 'Partygate' shit (from both sides) looks more like a desperate attempt to deflect attention from the real 'Covid' scandals... old people sent to infected homes, Covid grant fraud, improper awarding of contracts, etc. I suspect that 'The Authorities' hope that by boring people with minor transgressions they will lose the appetite to actually demand investigations into the bigger issues.

So the foreskin with a grey squirrel on his head has manufactured his innocence, bet that was expensive.

Well whoever gets the job probably won't last long in this political arena... they've got an uphill slog ahead of them...I wouldn't want the responsibility

There is only one I would vote for ...... but I wouldn't at the moment because he is doing too good a job where he is.
The trouble with most "politicians" of all parties is that they went into it as their chosen "career" ,
Some hoping to get an EU position and thus getting their noses firmly in that trough. (I'm convinced there was a lot of self interest amongst political remainers)
(and as a route to possible more lucrative positions as non voting directors of companies receiving large government contracts.)
Most seem to have a total disconnect from real life for the rest of the population.
There are the odd few that went into politics after a successful career in another field, often they seem to be more in touch with reality and actually care.

And Iβm convinced there was a lot of self interest amongst political brexiters. Anyone who still believes Brexit hasnβt damaged our country must live in cuckoo land.

Wallace gets my vote. He doesn't have any dual nationality, doesn't have a wife fiddling tax, doesn't hold a green card and is capable of the job. Of course the problem he does have is he's white and English.

He also didn't vote for Covid passports (abstained).
