Interesting that the police said “we don’t have enough evidence to prove intent.”

Would trained military horses have been at all bovvered by a squeaking rape alarm, aren't they trained to operate under gunshot and shell fire? No I think you might find the days of the cavalry battling on the front line are over. These days the horses are for ceremonial purposes only. Of course, silly me, the ceremony of running down protesters. There shall be no dissent from tory rule.

Interesting that the police said “we don’t have enough evidence to prove intent.” Exactly, how can a luggage strap be used as a lock on device? Perhaps the constable is into weird knot bondage or summat.

Perhaps the constable is into weird knot bondage or summat. Bike locks are used for locking on, so are you going to arrest people for carrying a bike lock. It’s obvious with the coronation the orders had come from on high.

The thing about the police is that, despite the fact that I honestly believe the majority (wouldn't like to say how much of a majority) are genuinely conscientious in the performance of their duty, many or perhaps all of them would, if ordered, shoot you. After all it's that or forget the pension.

Interesting point. 104 tory members voted NO to the Bill. Not a single Labour member voted NO. So its seems Labour members wanted it more. What bill and what relevance might it have to the coronation? The one that allows them to arrest people for "locking on"

Let us know what bill or amendment you are talking about. Please. the one that allows people to get arrested for "locking on" Oh you mean the Public Order Bill Act 2023. Which you assert was not opposed by Labour but which was unarguably created and legislated entirely by the Conservatives. That bill. Righto.

That is for the 3rd and final reading before it went to the Lords (the Lords amendments were defeated).
You will notice no Labour MPs voted for the Act, in fact the only people who did so were Cons.

What bill and what relevance might it have to the coronation? The one that allows them to arrest people for "locking on" Not even for actually "locking on", just "going equipped".

Please take your trouser belt off before leaving home....
And before anyone says that would is a rediculous statement - why arrest (agreed to and supported by the local council) night time helpers who are giving vulnerable people rape alarms.

Given that the intelligence was specific about the threat of rape alarms being thrown at the parade horses, one would have thought that anyone with a modicum of common sense might decide it was not a good idea on Friday night, even if they were handed out by people in hi-vis tabards. Protesters would never think of impersonating such volunteers would they?

The one that allows them to arrest people for "locking on" Not even for actually "locking on", just "going equipped". That's true.
