I think that if you make the claim on an open forum that actively not wishing to engage in same-sex sexual activities of the type which Andrew listed makes one "rather prudish and constrained by 20th century convention" then it is fairly inevitable that the person making this assertion is going to open himself up to ridicule and derision.

Well thanks for the advice on what to do in Nuneaton.
Based on these I think we're planning a day out in ... Leicester π
Quite surprised to be honest ... even in Rotherham I can immediately think of things I'd suggest for a visitor ... All Saints Church, Clifton Park and Museum, Chantry Chapel ... so I would have expected something worth visiting in Nuneaton.
Anyway it wasn't as rainy as forecast so we've cruised and turned onto the Ashby.
Think we'll train into Leicester for a wander around on a good day (looks like maybe Wednesday)

The market in Leicester is worth a look. I bought a big Mel-ton Mowbray pork pie in Leicester Market, it was delicious.

Anyway, homophobe is a label that was, and is used by gay blokes that have no alternative answer to an argument when it is suggested that one bloke shagging another bloke is not normal.
NN has two meanings, not normal and nick norman π€

We walked the footpath from Lime Kilns pub to the railway station (research for our Leicester trip) and saw an egret in the little flood dyke running behind the huge DPD centre. Lots of new building round there too. Called at the Hansom Cab pub as we passed ... rude not to. Rog

I really must untie from this waterpoint more often Seriously, I was pleasantly surprised the first time I cruised through to see both the water and the birds there... A bit like Fenny Stratford when they come out of the pub, glass in hand when you're struggling ....
