There's nothing wrong with moving around an area is there ... not longer than 14 days and onwards.
You don't have to travel the length of the country.

The ‘Us & Them’ is already alive and well, you just need to look at this threads first post!😩 so the thread title is completely neutral and you didn’t post it to get a reaction?

Rog No it is not illegal, nor is there anything specifically "wrong" with it. However to me, it demonstrates no interest in travelling, merely an interest in staying close to one locality within the fairly generous rules and laws of "continuous cruising". So in summary my point was counter to your point - there are lots of people without a home mooring who are not interested in travelling.

Some folks have to work, or have family ties but enjoy travelling so have to 'cut their cloth' to suit ... I don't see a problem. They like to travel but have to restrict it for reasons beyond their control. I'm fortunate that we enjoy travelling and are free to do so. Others have to do the best they can within limitations. Rog

Indeed the thread could equally be called why do marina dwellers have such a chip about cc’ers. But that would be equally as reactionary, only in opposition.

It’s always good to post an extreme point of view in a thread if you want to get a reaction and cause a “debate,” I suppose?

Exactly. But it seems everyone has entrenched opinions by this stage! So what is the point?
