We still don't really know if the hospital was bombed by Israel or Hamas. Seems slightly unlikely that Israel would have done that deliberately since they knew the eyes of the world were on them. I am inclined to go with the side that says Hamas did it by accident. It was being said on the radio earlier that Hamas do not possess ordnance anywhere near as powerful as this. Whether that is true I don't know.

I don't know much about the situation in the Middle East but I've already worked out from the BBC that Israel are the goodies and Palestine are the baddies.

Many people would argue that the BBC gives the opposite impression...

It would be quite clever to test a new munition on a hospital. If nobody knew you had that sort of bomb in your arsenal then it would be easy to deflect the blame.
A test is always desirable in real life.
See what happens to the civilians.
And the best bit is you are taking away medical facilities from your enemy. Always a good move especially if you can then say afterwards that it was their incompetence that caused it.
A master stroke of genius.
Clever buggers.

Many people would argue that the BBC gives the opposite impression... But suggesting the BBC supports the Palestinians isn't nearly as funny.

The trouble in Gaza gets worse every day. I wonder if one of Israel's aims is to entirely flatten the northern area of Gaza? Certainly appears to be.
If the purpose of government is to act in the best interests of 'the people' then you would have to call Hamas' policies a fail.

I think Israel want Gazza wiped from the map, full stop.

I don't think they're terribly concerned with football.
Apparently Israel intends to cut off all supplies of fuel, water, food etc when they're done bombing. That should encourage some of them to move, I guess.

Gazza left TB ages ago.
as for the Hamas I think their move was clever if they never want the Israelis to live in peace.
One can destroy a lot of people and infrastructure but at the same time you gain large numbers of enemies.
This is a long game.
Hamas want the Jews gone and the Jews want Gaza gone.
It is simple.
Nothing new under the sun.

One can destroy a lot of people and infrastructure but at the same time you gain large numbers of enemies. They were unfriendly already. It does make certain that any kind of peace is as far away as ever. Apparently Gaza has a quite high percentage of the population in the adolescent / young adult range so that should help ensure the continuing cycle of hate for some time yet.

Great to see St Greta is spearheading the anti Israel movement: 👍🙄 Interesting the climate justice banner incorporating the Palestinian flag.🤷🏽♂️ Have the Palestinians suddenly become world leaders in carbon reduction technology? 🙄 www.ynetnews.com/article/rypypkeza

I suppose if they are starved of fuel, they'll have to learn quite quickly about green sources of energy.

Real funny. How long did that take you? Well, who needs light and power when a hospital is severely overloaded with incoming patients and bombs. If your mobile is charged up, that's ok then innit.
