It will take the form of contracts handed to those who gave most generously to Tory Party coffers. Everyone else will have to settle for being riled up over 'illegal' immigration and being told how there will be a Law and Order Crackdown. Also they will go on about the unemployed (as opposed to employment) and how those guys are going to get proper fucked, which always goes down well with almost everybody.

Apparently a lot of Germans were convinced that right at the end Germany would join forces with the Allies and fight Russia. I love it that you think this is all a cunning plan. He is right Tories didnt turn out to vote, so labour won by default which is not good for them and they know it the 28.7 point drop in Mid-Bedfordshire was the sixth biggest fall in Tory support in the post-war period

Having a connection to the mid beds area, i can assure you there is no love for the labour loons. The plan to wake up the tories with a sharp slap to the face was the only way. Come the election, the turnout will increase and labour will lose heavily again. Nobody wants a bankrupt uk with even its gold reserves flogged off, (a regular occurrence with any labour government). Never labour, and never flip flop starmer. No excuse for bad manners though is it. No, it's not. In fact both tory candidates were pretty useless, and I hope both are fucked off before the next election.

This is just bullshit given the fact neither you or I know how those people vote.

I'd also suggest that both constituencies will return Conservative MPs at the next General Election.

The most damaging thing to me any politician has ever done was when Tony Blair welcomed in the flood of cheap labour from post-Communist countries in 2004 when virtually every other eu country had the sense to block them from their labour markets for seven years. I'm sure his chums made a lot of money from it but for working-class people like me it was disastrous and although the damage has been reversed to a degree since Brexit, I'll never make up those losses.

Blair was Bad Shit but from an economy point of view Gordon Brown was worse.
He did things which caused massive and long lasting damage to this country which can never be repaired.
Very bad.

The signs are right for a Labour landslide victory at the next General election.
Of course there's every opportunity for them to blow their lead over the next twelve to fourteen months.
Interesting times.
