I'm getting a £336k cash legacy in February (yay!) so I ain't bovverd.
Too many benefit scroungers is an obvious problem for society so yeah. Go for the votes !
Its been a long old wait but finally !
I'll be rich beyond the dreams of everest (well not exactly but at least with this much cash in my bank I can get a job!)

Nothing new here. I have to apply for 10 jobs a week or face sanctions. Employers know this is happening and trying to persuade them that you are genuinely interested in the job rather than just for filling your required obligations is hard.

I heard some quite interesting and rather disturbing information from the kids today.
The wheels are in motion. They know the deal.
No flowers please.
Donations to the Thunderboat Waterways Alliance Trust appreciated but not essential.
I'll embezzle the funds and sail around the world on a sloop.

It must be heartbreaking for you struggling to find the time to check your bank account on benefits day?🤷🏽♂️

I'm sure those most in need of assistance will get drawn into this , which is the problem.
One of the things about working a minimum wage job each winter is 'rubbing shoulders' with folks who seriously struggle to cover rent, heating and food bills ... some doing several jobs to 'get the hours' and cash.
I'm constantly reminded how fortunate I am.

I'm wondering how long it will take them to work out I'm in St Tropez and they still paying me for da Lundin mooring innit thousand pandamonth know what I'm sayin'?
they'll never find me as by then I will have completely stopped posting on the internet and will be off message.
Incommunicado.
I might even go through the Dire Straits with the sails up.
Dem kids grow up do their shit they'll never know me.
All rather predictable.

I've been in advanced discussions with the girls about faking my own death.
It was the Nicola Bulley case which made me think of it. One could deliberately make it look like one fell in the River and disappear and go dark for a few weeks somewhere nice. The press will be all over it, loads of ads on social media, talk of a Netflix deal then it turns out it was all just a strange error and actually I just couldn't deal with shit so decided to sail to the Azores in a sloop I bought for cash from a geyser in Oban.
Then Netflix buy the story we get shit load of money and everything goes swimmingly. Nice house by the Thames all the boats in the garden and a beer shop just around the corner.
What could Possibly Go Wrong ?

As I've posted before, when I was still living in Kent my then boss stopped advertising for HGV drivers in the Job Centre because he would be inundated with applications from claimants who didn't have an HGV licence. So long as claimants can show they have applied for x number of jobs per week they don't get sanctioned.
I'm sure some folk do choose the Dole as a lifestyle choice but it's a bit of a vicious circle really, in much of the post-industrialised parts of the UK there simply isn't any work since the factories closed down. They can't all work in a call centre or a nail bar so what else can you do?

Or just play scrabble perhaps.
Or do popular TV stuff and get filthy rich.
