Simon did say he was reasonably sure she couldn't demand her house not be part of the picture but the publishers got twichy and for the sake of peace he used another picture without her place in it. I do not know how it stands anymore, rules continually change, the litigation band wagon gains pace and people climb on for the ride.

The claims culture is certainly getting ridiculous.

Many years ago I came home from work to be told by Jane that the google camera car had gone past the house. It was still a novelty back then.
Sure enough, some time later, we discovered that if you look at our house on google, there in the front window is Jane looking out.

My kids also noticed that I was 'caught' by the Google car in the kitchen.

Me and my nipper are on it too. Strangely over the years all of my cars have been captured, all in different counties.

One is outside a freinds house, another is driving through Devon when we were followed by the google car and another is parked outside a holiday cottage in Scotland all on different years so probably the recent one has no cars on. I like looking back through the previous years and we've spotted our car in quite a few outside our own place and at work.

I was just wondering if there was any potentially compromising situation involved

I turned up on streetview a few years ago pushing a baby in a pram. It was one of my daughters so its ok. Another time I was interacting with a motor vehicle. It was my car so its ok.
