I'd drive about in a Triumph Stag if I had to From recollection, not for very long or for any great distance. I do remember we'd go out in it then it'd have to go to the garage for rehab(?points burning out..whatever they are).....we didn't find it an uncomfortable ride..well suppose seats a bit low..anyway mum loved her triumph stag..it was one of the last off the production line.

Wife had Triumph. Spitfire which I borrowed one day to go to Linslade where I had left Tadworth and Bakewell for 5 days intending to get them to Stoke B over the weekend. Near side back wheel came off and rolled into the ditch. Managed to find all the bits and put it back together again and limped to the boats. They knew how to build cars in Coventry in those days. Happy Birthday Nigel Farage. He's not a Thunderboat member. If he had any sense, he would be! Nige agrees and says "Burp!"
