Yet... some people were killed. It's becoming something of a routine. Indeed, but what is the actual risk of being killed in a terrorist attack? Google it. You have more chance of being killed driving your bus. That is the point I was making. Or by getting knifed by our very own Mr Stabby.

Two friends of mine recently relocated to London. They love it (they're young) and they realise the chance of being involved in anything terror related is about the same as being hit by a falling piano from a block of flats. Which is exactly why, when you are walking past blocks of flats, you should be keeping your eyes open for falling pianos, remote possibility as it is. I am so glad I don't have blocks of flats near me..its bad enough watching out for mad farmers on tractors and speeding cyclists plus middle aged 'I own the road' brigade without having to look up as well

Interested to hear your opinion. Absolutely no need to be polite, if they were/are horrible, say so. Those blue ones from the box - I have sometimes dished them out to the kids on my bus, and should probably get another couple of boxes next week to hand some out, two per scruffian on the afternoon runs when I take them home. I'm talking about the little kids, up to around age 12. The spotty, rude teenagers can buy their own.

I understand the evenings for cake and choc, I'm a bit weird like that myself. When I get letters in the post, or parcels, I choose to open them when I feel the time is right. Pirkko doesn't understand it. Also, Finns gobble everything up in seconds - I am always astounded how I have just started my meal and their plates are empty! I like to do things slowly and simply.
'Young Morse' on TV now, so back to Oxford....
