Just seen one of my sisters grandsons....at 8 months his hair has sprouted through ginger..... Sometimes euthanasia is a kindness. But it could be worse, some of mine were born in Yorkshire!

I saved a girl in 1989 when she and 4 other teenagers were in my dinghy with me, which sank on the Thames due to passenger movement towards the bows (someone saw a dead fish and they all went to the front) No lifejackets and it turned out afterwards she couldn't swim!
6 people in a 10ft plywood dinghy with outboard motor is too many.

We rescued a sheep while we were out! Not quite the same I suppose.
He fell in the canal and couldn't get out so we stopped. Of course he then swam to the other side. Each time we tried to grab him he swapped sides till eventually he got tired.
Dragged him out, put him in the well and transported him to the right side of the canal so he could rejoin his mates.
You wouldn't believe how heavy a wet sheep is!
