When I emptied our Thetford this morning I heard a 'crack!' and now there are two cracks in the plastic bottom radiating away from the round moulding mark. Poor manufacture. I may take a photo and send it to Thetford. In the meantime Jesus Tape*, the cracks aren't letting liquid through yet (loo now standing on kitchen towel). *where we live duct tape is known by this name, as it 'performs miracles'. Are you sure it wasn't an inside job, someone dropped a large "brick" down the hatch. It could've sunk your boat.

Well, it was mildly gusty this night. On waking at 5am our biggest shock was an almighty crash on the roof. I thought our bikes had shifted in the high winds, and that they had suddenly slunk into a more comfotable repose. I went out and shone the torch onto... a Canada goose standing on our roof! They must be heavy beasties. A favourite recipe for Canada Goose, prep it and put it in the oven, put a brick on the same shelf. When brick is cooked so is goose.

The Bells, Esmerelda Fox? The bells? But did he actually say that? www.imdb.com/title/tt0116583/quotesClopin: Listen. They're beautiful, no? So many colors of sound, so many changing moods. Because, you know, they do not ring all by themselves. Puppet: They don't? Clopin: No, you silly boy. Up there, high, high in the dark bell tower, lives the mysterious bell ringer. Who is this creature? Puppet: Who? Clopin: What is he? Puppet: What? Clopin: How did he come to be there? Puppet: How? Clopin: Hush! Puppet: Ow! Clopin: Clopin will tell you. It is a tale, a tale of a man, and a monster.
