It gets around. I saw it (thomas) last year on the back of a truck on the M4 near the M25 interchange.
There may be several.

It gets around. I saw it (thomas) last year on the back of a truck on the M4 near the M25 interchange. There may be several. No, there's just one. It's a heavily modified 0-6-0 ST Hunslet Austerity class which was originally a saddle tank engine and was converted to side tanks in the 1990s.

some scrotes threw something inflammable into a 10ft high hedge just down the road and set fire to it, now there's a hole about 20ft long which will take years to re-grow.
what is it about hedges?

The one pictured at Llangollen is a converted Hunslet and was originally owned by the National Coal Board.

Ah well gotta mosey up there some time...wonder if they r doing Christmas special days...have few things on my eternal check out/to see list this festive season and there is always room for more...have a yen to 'have a go' at one of these crafty workshops...it'll beat knotweed clearance!

Yesterday would have been good to go to NVR, Flying Scotsman has had an unscheduled stop there to have work done on a hot axle box, sadly we were too busy getting the boat ready
