These calendars must be some of the least environmentally friendly ones ever!

These calendars must be some of the least environmentally friendly ones ever! Mining for diamonds is also a bit wasteful, just so that Meghan Markle can 'get her Sparkle'. Well you have brought the snow with you as well mr fox any idea what time to Shrffield?

Cheers Foxy - glad you made it home safely... we waited for half an hour or so, in case you returned "keyless"...
Good to see you both again... you must be shattered.
Thanks so much for the Vodka - I'd forgotten all about it... AND of course for the calender... I STILL think I was robbed and should have won the comp with my composition of "white van in hiding"...;-)

Saturday 0935 Although I deliberately added extra time onto our driving route, as I know how it evaporates, we found ourselves constantly running a bit behind schedule. Back on our floating tub and thawing it out after just over 2.5 days alone with no stove going. Not too bad a run - 13 calendars (13 TBers) got one. Out of 24 I started with (17, 3 spare, 4 extras ordered by peterboat & johnv) that leaves 7 (4 + 3). One spare went to Dinky & Malc in Banbury (used to go boating with their own narrowboats) , we had our boat parked up for 5 months outside their house. So here are 4 calendars (of which one is the prototype) and 2 spare. Probably 4 will go by post, 1 hand delivery, and 1 spare. It was tough driving with snowy/icy roads and the rain yesterday morning in Wiltshire/Oxfordshire, but we had no incidents with other drivers or animals (deer, hedgehogs - badgers!) and no scatches to the car. That first stint was 656 miles / 1049km. So: 13 by hand and 11 by post means 24 Thunderboaters have been issued with THE THUNDERBOAT CALENDAR 2018. Yay! ps - details of the calendar are still to be kept hidden until the last one has been received. Thankyou Magnetman! ย ย Get a neck string for your reading glasses๐. That will save you hours.
