At least we can all raise a smile at the fact you clearly have got right under their skin. π»ππ’β like most authoritarian societies, they couldn't abide opposition that keeps telling them they are going wrong. I never broke their rules so they had to invent one for meΒ Yes, no doubt about that. I've edited my first post after a couple of minutes reflection!

So why can't you access Canalworld? Having asked, I have looked at that thread, and quite honestly it's just more of the same old regurgitated bollocks from 'the usual suspects'. It's mind-numbing. So now I am off to do some paperwork. How pleasant in our little boat, the rain beating down but warm & cosy with the stove aglow. I tip my hat to the Badger. I think he is a jolly nice badger all in all. I just get a screen that says you are banned Go in via an incognito window. Then create a sock puppet account using a different email address. None of the mods or the idiot Daniel have worked out who I am posting as on CWDF.

Why is Dan allowed to make up the CWDF rules, anyway? It was a forum handed over to him for safekeeping, was he also given carte blanche to choose how to run it? Those who call you a racist or 'mysogynist' are those who surround themselves by people of their own ilk for starters, and then these short-haired ugly lesbians are just annoyed when they know no man wants to finger 'em. I like the badger, he's got a good bite on him. Never really got to the bottom of Dan's anti-anti-CaRT thing, like locking the CaRT legal threads, what was all that about? Is Tony Dunkley still posting there or was he banned for some reason?

I just get a screen that says you are banned I understand you can't sign in, but anyone can read it without signing in. I'm sure it's been suggested you clear your cookies cache? why the hell should I bother ? do you really think it's worth going there since the changes ? I can't be arsed

The most interesting posts in months have been the Black Rose one and the two follow ups. They're the sort of topics I would read, but not comment on, but once a mod swoops and uses the lock hammer, they become fascinating. I understand that such discussions are not to everyone's taste, but cannot accept that the only answer is to lock topics. I have to say any 'boaty site' that chooses to ban someone with Tony Dunkley's experience, cannot be a true boaty site. The recent discussions between Mr Dunkley (an authority on boats) and Mr Telemachus (an authority on electrics) have amused me greatly, and provide proof positive that experts do not always agree, and discussion can be very entertaining. Certainly more entertaining than the forlock touching on CWDF Rog

Certainly more entertaining than the forlock touching on CWDF Rog I wouldn't rate Nick an expert on electrics, (by no means is that meant to be nasty). He has a fair knowledge, but some of what he comes out with is not always correct. I tend to double check anything he states that is of interest to me, and have often found he can be wrong.

It's good to see one of the victims was stabbed 10 times and has survived.
The experts of the nhs win again.

Flincher cracks me up. He states "Strange that some who have in the past told us that the "other" forum is now the better one still keep coming back here.
As we were also told by some that this one was in danger of dying out completely I guess they are wondering just how long that's now going to take?"
With regard your last sentence mate, given the majority of you are coffin dodging, or queued outside the undertakers, I suspect it will take less than 3 years. ππ

Apparently if you stab upwards then deeper wounds inflicted..downwards shallower....or so i was told during a course on self defence....not that i intended stabbing anyone but apparently women tend to stab downwards.....
