Bitcoin will hit $80k per coin. Where will they find that many fools from? You mean, when will the fools realise it's currently hugely undervalued.

At least you can keep the boat stove going by burning £20 notes, you can't keep warm like that with Cloud Currency.

The other day it fell through the floor........ No it didn't.... I deleted the email from exponential investor that said it did and also listed the countries that were preparing legislation about bitcoin for tax reasons. Half of the emails I receive say they are great the other half says the bubble will burst, so lets see what happens shall we?

We can look back on this thread next year and see the results. I've yet to meet anyone that actually understands Bitcoin yet thinks it is going nowhere. All of it's detractors seem to be clueless about the technology.

It was only invented 9 years ago I sold shitloads when it hit $10 in 2011, would have had a nicer boat now if I'd held on to them all.

Yup, the proof is in the pudding. We used to burn £5 and £10 notes in our stove, but can't anymore as they're now made of plastic, so it has to be £20s. That's 100-400% inflation ffs!!

He was definately an early adopter. I looked into it with him, but it would have cost more in electricity than Bitcoin was worth at the time. As it was really in its beginning nobody knew how it was going to go, I didn't really have the insight to do it. It's funny because it's the uses its been put to since that have given it worth. I think the market in crypto currencies isn't so clear as it was a. Couple of years ago. There are so many now, even the Chinese gov has its own now. But I suppose Bitcoin is the best know and most tegonisable. The thing I don't like about crypto currencies is that they are all based on the Internet. The end of net neutrality might effect them adversely or I should say effect their usefulness for some users. I know the reason Bitcoin was split this last year was to improve its usability.
