You aren't half long winded you know Nick. Far to many words, your so full of yourself you have to let it out is that it? Yes rather a lot of words, but the trouble is when communicating with you, it is necessary to use a lot of one-syllable words rather than a few more complex ones.
Anyway I take if from your lack of any coherent response, that you now understand and appreciate why I prefixed with "proper". Phew, glad that's sorted.

Precious metals and stocks have tangible value. Bitcoin doesn't and its increase in value is driven entirely by the "Greater Fool Theory". Bitcoin does have value, you just don't understand why. looks like the Chinese goverment have just decided to limit the electricity to Bitcoin mining operations in China. Just heard it on the radio.

2018:
The pound will rally as the world and hopefully the population of this country realises Britain can survive and prosper without 'brothering up' with other, mostly poorer nations.
CRT will announce a large hike in 'continuous cruiser' licence fees. Action that follows includes blockading the canal at strategic points, namely either side of hire boat bases.
There will be a high number of so called celebrity deaths including, hopefully, Bob Geldof, although I did like his music.
National insurance will rise 'to pay for the nhs'. It won't be enough of course, it never can be.
Donald Trump will finally have a haircut.

It's very rare to hear/see an accurate story about bitcoin in the mainstream media. Take everything with a pinch of salt.

Speaking for myself, I believe you 'pull off' the not seeming "too perfect" very well. Just mention it to put your mind at rest Rog

I know I’m not the brightest spark plug in the box but how can summat that is a virtual thingymejig be mined? You have to do lots of complex calculations to create a new bitcoin. Computer people always seem slightly embarrassed that computers are not a physical occupation so they call the bits in a printer an engine and doing lots of sums (it is so complex that it takes hours for a computer to do the calcs to make a bitcoin, so uses lots of power) to make a bitcoin is called mining.
