Yes, I remember seeing 'British' chicken eggs - they were 'British' because they had had the stamp put on in Britain, but they were actually laid in some filthy chicken shed in Brazil. We three lions on an egg, about as genuine as Nick Clegg.

Mmm Tescos being duped by food makers. Never would of thought that was possible. Neigh. I do like the first ones style. Drivers deliver caged eggs and then waited hours to pick up free range eggs. Waited hours while they repacked the eggs they just delivered to buy back the same eggs. Brilliant.

Why can't the British make cabin lights for boats? Where are the 'Captains of Industry'? Where is the competition? Anyway, having a quick look now. We have 6 weeks to get something (and even then it's not urgent). They do. www.davey.co.uk/Click on lighting. They are not cheap! I've got some tired Davey jelly mould lamps, sadly being replaced by Chinese tat as i can't afford to replace them with current Davey stuff. I'm not throwing them out as the glass must be pretty much unobtainium now

If you haven't decided yet it might be best just to go to bed early.

I have decided on a Path of Action. And have started walking along it... So there is light at the end of the cabin.

There are 7 working lights in the cabin (and another 2 recessed lights in the bathroom, though I'm not sure what they're for) - but soon we should have all as LEDs. Worth pointing out is that there are lighting suppliers in Elland and Halifax, might pop in those on our next trip. Thinking of out & back to Brighouse for a change of scenery, have been up & down to Hebden Bridge 6 times so far. That's a pretty run, but there's the bother of booking Tuel Lane Lock. there's a lovely offside mooring at Rawson's Wood, just below park nook lock, there's a place for a fire etc.
