All employers employ whoever they like, the paperwork is just a bind. They avoid women, women who might go on maternity leave, coloured, white, disabled whatever. What they don't do is write that down! This woman will have been a bit dim not realising she wasn't meant to email the real reason for being turned down.
Councils seem to delight in NOT doing this, but their money grows on trees.

So is the census that it's a conspiracy and she's not been sacked and that the company has not stopped using that angency Not a consensus rather a surmise without evidence! You lot don't half get wound up by the Tory rags. As is their intent! Throw in a migrants story, watch you jump shout and wobble around! Calm down dears. There are crims and ne'er do wells in every section of society, even some on here, though not all have been caught and branded. Nothing to do with "Tory rags" Jim, I'm as working-class as it's possible to be and I have never voted Conservative in my life. It is an immutable fact that my wages have stagnated for over ten years now due entirely to the influx of cheap labour from countries with post-Communist economies. I can only presume from your Remoaner status that this is an issue which has not affected you personally, but I'm sure you must meet many folk in your part of the world who would echo my thoughts on eu membership.

Performing circuses are full of acts from all over the world, been like that for years. The world is a competitive place.

The mines all closed round here 100 years ago. Not sustainable. For climatic reasons they aren't sustainable now, what's left of them. Just the odd anthracite mine for the little trains, you should be chuffed to bits.

Closing the mines was a stroke of genius. At the time people didn't realise it but in the future it will pay off and help this isolated island to survive. When brexit kicks in, the shit really hits the fan, its a cold winter and people are wondering what to do about the energy crisis because we've also alienated the russians and the Chinese have turned the newkiller power off because of diplomatic issues. and the wind turbines are falling over one by one. Sold as European but they were actually Chinese rubbish.
Then someone says "oh, do you remember that coal we've got under the ground there - shall we dig it out?"
