My comment was meant to be more on the difference of cultures rather than sexual orientation, in the same way 'feminists' say nothing about the bizarre mutilation of their sisters. Surprisingly, maybe, I don't think I have anything to say about sexual orientation. I just give a nudge now and then for fun. Wrong of me, I guess, but I do it anyway and just carry on to the important issues of the day. I sometimes wish I could get through life without stepping on anyone's toes, or that everyone else had steel-capped boots. Foot-in-mouth again...

Think the EU is getting ready to go down the pan and I hope we arnt attached to it when it does because they will bankrupt countries to keep it afloat and their wages intact expense fiddling shites they are

No, my fault, on re-reading my post came across as a bit more "prissy" than I had intended it to. Apologies. We've actually met a gay boater from Thunderboat, we crossed locks with him mid-way through the Curdworth flight and chatted with him a bit, he seemed a sound enough feller to us.

Islam is practiced peacefully by the massive majority of followers although there are some fruit loop adherents, as there are with any religion. It is absolutely undeniable that the Orlando bar massacre happened because an adherent of Islam disapproved of the practices of homosexuals and this really is a problem we need to get our heads out of the sand about. I wouldn't begin to pretend I knew what the answer was.

Actually, as more becomes known about the shooter it turns out that he had been to the Pulse club quite a number of times in the recent past, and not necessarily to do reconnaissance work or massacre planning.

I don't believe the remain group has any idea of what will happen if we stay in, that's why they are coming out with any old crap they can think of to convince us not to vote out. Nigel farage in my opinion has little sway on anyone's thoughts, so I don't think anything he says has any merit. Anyone who believes he does has obviously missed the issues that actually count.

No, because 'Islam' isn't a 'race'. Are Daily Mail Readers a race? Are Liveaboard Gits a race? You could be prosecuted, though, for disapproving of something, by those who hate you. BSS inspectors ARE a race and we all hate THEM with vengeance! Break a leg! (Ha!)

I have listened to Nigel Farage, I like his style, and he's the most direct and honest politician I've ever seen.
I'm still betting 5 Euros on that Brexit-gets-an-exit and the UK votes to stay IN the Merkel-Mire.
Mark Zuckerberg, Face-ache's CEO, will be grinning. But, with a Jewish name like that, I'm sure, will be avoiding nightclubs frequented by Ali Babas.

Now that I have logged in I will declare that we have arranged proxy votes for Out but have a horrible feeling that it will go Remain by a small margin. This will be declared a sound victory by the Remain camp and the politicians. If however, the vote goes Brexit by a small margin there will be doubts cast on the accuracy and desirability of the result and we may be asked to vote again like Eire did until they get a result that they want. I know that Cameron has said that this vote will be final but you know how reliable a politician's promises are! Roger
