I've seen boats with names like kinell, up yaws etc but it got me wondering how rude you could actually be in a license application. Presumably there is someone in an office somewhere who filters this sort of thing. Or maybe nobody ever dares call a boat "dickhead" or similar so the problem does not arise.
But then everyone's opinion of rude words is different. I think a boat called "dickhead" would be amusing but someone else might think it downright rude.
What's the rudest one out there ?

There's an unbelievably witty bellend on our marina with a boat named ' No Wuckin' Forries' π
All the marina visitors piss their pants laughing and comment at the ingenious play on words when they see it...π
Its just so cleverly thought out, original & hilarious! π

I did wonder about that for my dinghy when I take it to Henley regatta on a visitor license. They require a name. Twat might be considered rather rude by some but that would increase the appeal in some ways.
I think the patrol boats would put a stop to it if it was too blatant.

I think calling a boat "Something Mildly Offensive" is quite a good idea

I must confess that there is no way would I own a boat that had a name that would make it ashamed
(yes I know it's daft but I think boats should have "proper" names )

Jeff really hates all pun-type names like Idunho, Dunworkin, Meandher. This is why we went for a classical name. That and the leather skirts.

I don't mind the fact that my boat was named after a real world female, but having it named after a couple would be a bit syrupy.

And when it comes to winding up Hatton paddles - 22 turns of exuberance - all oneβs bits can swing freely and add to the momentum!
