I have always pronounced it 'nice' but my friend pronounces it as 'nice' and insists he is correct. How do you pronounce it?

I don't like them so I never need concern myself how to pronounce them..now scone and scone is an issue as I'm partial(NB Ellis take note) to a warmed home made scone without cream or jam.....

More importantly, any news on the house? Rog one valuation to-day and another tomorrow...then she will go on the market.. The lady to-day says there is no comparable properties that the cottage is in a class of its own, unique and quirky... I'm gonna take pics of all the rooms now all is painted and finished I spent part of to-day over in the field attempting to sort out the crap that mu neighbours are responsible for...all done there as well..I also cut down stuff that her next door ask me to.... TBH it all looks really nice and as i said to daughter there is nothing more i can do. with what i paid for her + what i spent on her I'm over 60k down on valuation....

Photos would be good, before you hopefully put it behind you and get a quick sale following a bidding war But on this thread, the question was actually intended for Delta9, who seems to have been buying a house for years! Rog
