There was also a huge void in the offside lock wall that dumped water straight into the cratch (cratch rolled up as it was so sunny). He said that had been reported too I wonder if it was the same fountain that soaked my sister before she managed to get the side door on the centre cockpit shut (I was ok, I was working the locks and was killing myself laughing) that was in 2011

Because my boat fills the locks and I'm standing on the back deck it's impossible to get away from the water. With narrowboats it's not so bad as your to one side or the other.

Anyone need a haircut while in Skipton? My daughter owns Luxe Salon on the left going up the High Street, a ginnel next to Greg's and a hardware shop. She lives in a cottage next to Springs Branch, I'm visiting her tomorrow if anyone is in Skipton.

The answer to all these worries/contradictions is GIN.. and copious quantities! I don't like gin so my worries will require a different pick me up alcoholic beverage....

Well it would be but regretfully liquers/spicy foods and even red wine are now banned owing to medical issues... I've had to make few lifestyle changes on the dietry front following results of investigations...but health now improved so its worth it.

We've just come up Blackburn locks.
Moored at the top for an Asda visit.
They were in surprisingly good nick, much better than Johnsons Hillock locks.
The litter was pretty bad though, which wasn't an issue there.

Do you not have any semi-soluble material beneath your bed that you could use to plug the gaps with? That's a crap idea. Nobody would keep the waste ash from their fire beneath their bed. Anyway a normal person would simply bowl haul the boat for a short distance to avoid the issue but kris is knot knormal.
